Jens Wimmel and 'Blumendorf' layout crowned 2002 Faszination Modellbau champion

Four year Z veteran, Jens Wimmel of Chur, Switzerland took top honors in the 2002 edition of the Faszination Modellbau layout competition. This is a first for "Z" at this event. The "Blumendorf" is Jens' first Z layout and is 100% digital using Railware for controlling software. Eleven locos are equiped with Digirail DHL-100 decoders. Jens is planning appearances later in 2002 at St. Galen, Switzerland and Cologne, Germany. Congratulations for a wonderful achievement.
